OOSC Monthly Programs

We meet once a month during the school year for fellowship. The time usually includes a meal and a short program. These functions are planned for the third Tuesday of the month.

OOSC Function Policies

Guests

Members may bring a guest to any OOSC function. Any person eligible for membership in the OOSC may attend one luncheon, dinner or coffee, but many not attend subsequent functions as a guest of another OOSC member.

Reservations

Reservations and cancellations must be made by noon the Friday prior to the luncheon or dinner.

Permanent reservations need only call for cancellations or meal selection by noon Friday prior to the function.

Please call only the person listed for the type of reservation you desire. If s/he cannot be reached, call the reservations chairperson. Reservations are only accepted between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Be prepared to give your club card or credit card number, home phone number, plus meal selection when making a reservation. Payment at the function can be cash, check or credit card. Any questions regarding payment policy, please speak with the reservations chairperson.

If you cannot attend the function and you are PCSing, please take the time to cancel your permanent reservation. If you do not cancel, you will be billed.

Only people not eligible for OOSC membership may be invited as guests. All guests' meals are charged to the member.

You must sign in at the reservations table in the lobby under your alphabetical listing. If you have not arrived by five minutes before the event is to begin, you will be considered a no-show and your seat will not be guaranteed. These vacancies may be given to other members who have come as walk-ins.

If you foresee the possibility of being late, please advise the person taking your reservation so they can hold a seat for you. Otherwise, you will be considered a no-show and your seat cannot be guaranteed.

Permanent reservations do not carry over from the last year. please take the time to make a new reservation at the start of each new year.

Inclement Weather

All OOSC functions will occur unless the Offutt Club is closed. If Offutt Air Force Base is closed, the Offutt Club will also close. If there is an OOSC function scheduled, the function will be cancelled.

However, if the Offutt Club remains open and you have made a reservation but do not attend because of the inclement weather - you will still be billed.

Children

All members with children over the age of 6 months need to make arrangements for their children during functions.
