Scholarships
for High School Seniors
Each year, the Offutt
Officers' Spouses' Club (OOSC) Charitable Association, Inc. awards several $1,000 academic merit scholarships
to high school seniors. These scholarships are awarded to the selected students on
the basis of academic excellence and involvement in the school, community,
and work place.
To be eligible
for these scholarships, a student must meet the following requirements:
●be
a candidate for graduation from high school in this year
●be
a dependent of one of the following:
•
a military member (either officer or enlisted; active duty, retired or
deceased)
assigned to Offutt Air Force Base
•
a military member (either officer or enlisted; active duty, retired or
deceased)
assigned to a local military unit serviced by Offutt Air Force Base
• a GS-7 or above
civilian employee, employed or retired from employment
at Offutt Air Force Base
Application
forms are available in the guidance counselors office, Base Education
Office or the Bellevue Schools' Welcome Center.

Scholarships
for Spouses
The Offutt
Officers' Spouses' Club (OOSC) Charitable Association, Inc. sometimes
awards a $1,000 spouse scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to an eligible applicant
based on an essay on why the applicant is pursuing further education, and
how he/she believes further education will be of personal benefit in the
future.
To be eligible
for this scholarship, the student must be currently enrolled in an
accredited course of study (including university, professional tradecraft,
or other life/career enhancing study) and be the spouse of a military
member (officer or enlisted: active duty, retired, or deceased).
Application
forms will be available at the Base Education Office and various other
locations on Offutt AFB.
