Most military officers’ spouses’ clubs and enlisted spouses’ clubs have a thrift shop that is run on the installation, The Offutt Officers’ Spouses’ Club is no different. These thrift shops provide a way for the clubs to raise funds for their charitable activities.
The revenue that is brought in goes toward many community and base organizations, as well as scholarships for high-school seniors and military spouses. Click here for a list of organizations that received charitable donations during the 2015-2016 board year.
The Offutt Thrift Shop is located at Castle Hall, Building 525, across from the BX and next to the dorms.
Phone: 402-294-6879 OR 402-294-6880
The thrift shop accepts consignments of up to 20 items, two times per week. Six of the 20 items may be clothing.
Consignment contracts are $0.50 each.
All items must be clean and reasonably current.
Consignments are accepted from 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. each day we are open
Withdrawals are accepted for a small fee from Wednesday–Saturday from 10 a.m.–2 p.m
Excluding the inventory manager and bookkeeper, the Offutt Thrift Shop operates solely on volunteers: retirees, enlisted and officer spouses. We are always looking for help, and no experience is needed. The Offutt Thrift Shop has a wonderful group of volunteers who love to see new faces. If you have a few hours during the week and would like to assist, please call. Help is always needed, and you’ll be raising money for a great cause.
